Extension HQ B. Security Systems,
2011-2012, Munich, Germany
For the HQ extension of a major German electronics' enterprise, the complete interiors in the leased building had to be removed.
Some parts, such as doors and most of the suspended ceiling, were saved for reuse and kept track of in a database for an easier planning process.
After installing the major technical components for illumination, ventilation, heating and fire protection, the floor, the walls and the ceiling were constructed in close coordination with the technical planners. In this manner a modern climatisation system, a multi-level fire protection system and Zumtobel illumination components could be incooperated into a modern office landscape.
The facade from metal and glass had to be costomized in more than 60 locations for new air inlets, also services for exterior surfaces and a pavillion were provided.
The works have been accomplished in time, and the limits of the budget have not been exceeded.
